Sat 22 Jun - Midsummer Music

The second day of our live music extravaganza at the Mill kicks off on Saturday afternoon and stretches right through into the evening!

The Tap Room opens at 12pm and a local folk group starts the afternoon from around 2pm in a relaxed and chilled style, just perfect to kick back your shoes and relax with a pint or two. Nioko Bok, a local African Djembe drumming group led by Keba Dhiedhou will rock the garden around 3.30pm, followed by a bunch of talented young musicians from Towcester Rock School. MLC will kick off the early evening around 5.45pm with their direct guitar-based music from the Heart of England including covers from all the greats as well as their own spontaneous interpretations. Towcester Studio Band will showcase their latest tunes around 7.30pm. The evening concludes with local musician Paul Gunn and his band Funktionality!

Between 12pm-6pm there will be food from the Monday Night Eating Club with their gourmet grilled sandwiches. From 6pm-10pm The Healthy Jamaican Kitchen are back with their fabulous and ever popular jerk chicken and curry goat!

Always massively popular, always great entertainment, great beer and great food! No tickets required, just turn up on the day.
