Thu 29 Nov - Comedy Night - John Ryan and Ivo Graham

The irresistibly amiable John Ryan is an award-winning comedian who uses his acerbic wit and seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of the world around him to keep any audience on their toes. His East End Irish upbringing gives him the rare ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. No stranger to either the strange or the norm, he will put an amusing spin on any subject matter going. John has a reputation for thinking on his feet and confidently and cleverly adapting his show to any audience. He also works in men’s health and by combining comedy with practical advice, John is living proof that laughter really is the best medicine. His shows on the comedy circuit are highly-acclaimed - even the Daily Telegraph called him a ‘genius’ - but it is his work in men’s mental health that is truly ground-breaking.

Ivo started stand-up in 2009 at the age of eighteen and eight months later became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award for new acts at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit, with a gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit which has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on multiple TV and radio shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, As Yet Untitled, Live From the BBC and Fighting Talk. He has also written for various other TV comedy shows, as well as his own sitcom projects in development with Big Talk Productions and the BBC.

Supported by Thomas Green, a UK based Australian Stand Up. Moving to the UK in 2015, Green has established himself on the circuit, and is a comic on the rise.
He is known for having a face of elasticity, a unique story-telling style and a highly energetic stage presence.

The evening will be compered by the Mill's resident MC, Pete Teckman.

Food will be available from Baja Cantina on the night, with their delicious tex mex dishes! Order on arrival.

Over 18s only. Please note some material by comedians may be of an adult nature.
