We pride ourselves on being a big-hearted community pub and one of our very popular clubs that has been going for many years is celebrating its 10th anniversary with us this year!
The Towcester Mill Golf Society first teed off in 2016 and is still going strong. Following their AGM here last November they now have their fixtures set for the year, and the first event in the TMBGS 10 year Anniversary Season was today at Kilworth Springs.
"It was windy and cold, with some rain and hail, but 25 players got together for coffee, a bacon roll and pre-game banter before facing the elements!" said Nick Cooper. "The course was in excellent condition and this was reflected in the scoring. After the game there was a meal and prize giving, which included 12 bottles of beer kindly donated by TMB, our sponsor for the last 10 years, shared between the four winners of the Competition Holes."
