Steam Room

Our Steam Room was opened in September 2020 to enable us to offer additional indoor seating for the autumn and winter months. It is located on the first floor and in the part of the building that was built in the early 1900s joined to the original stone building from the late 18th Century.

It was named the Steam Room as this room is located directly above the brewery and our beer brewing kettle. On brewing days steam can be seen escaping outside the side of the building! It is also a nod to the railway heritage displayed within the room - in the autumn of 2019 we were lucky enough to be loaned an original Towcester Railway sign from Towcester Museum, dated from the early 1900s, along with pictures of the old station.

There is plenty of room with a number of tables, and is regularly used for our monthly quiz nights, music bingo nights, as well as our open mic nights. This room also has lovely views of the water and the beer garden which stretches towards the Watermeadows. We have a lift should it be needed for access.
