Welcome to our award-winning Tap Room! Housed in a 200 year old, beautiful, Grade II listed Mill, it is situated within the same building as our brewery. The Tap Room won CAMRA's 'Spring Town Pub of the Season' in 2023 and 'Pub of the Year for Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland' in 2017. Click here to see our Awards.
Our Tap Room was refurbished in the spring of 2022 following a Crowdfunding campaign to 'raise the Bar'. Over £10,300 was raised in just five weeks, which led to a revised bar layout, complete with more lighting, more space and ultimately more efficiency for both customers and staff.
We offer a selection of cask ales from our eight traditional hand pumps, mainly sourced from our on-site brewery. Our own ales are the freshest they can be, having been produced just a few feet away, and therefore always in the best condition. There is no draught lager in our Tap Room!
“A brewery tap is the nearest outlet for a brewery's beers. This is usually a room or bar in the brewery itself, though the name may be applied to the nearest pub.”
As well as our cask ale and guest ales, we offer a range of real ciders, Lyme Bay fruit wines, over 25 speciality gins, many of which are locally produced by artisan distilleries, Belgian beers, alcohol-free and gluten-free bottled beers and other drinks and snacks you’d expect to find in a great pub. We ensure that many of our drinks are produced locally from the surrounding areas including Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire.
Open six days a week, you'll always be welcomed with friendly service so we hope to see you here soon!
