We are delighted to announce that we are in the Good Beer Guide for the 12th year in a row and the only entry for Towcester! CAMRA members give each ale a score based on its quality - it's only the pubs that get consistently good scores that appear in the independent guide, which makes it such a fantastic achievement.
Black Fire won the 'Strong Stouts' category at the 2025 Northampton County Beer Festival at Becket's Park. CAMRA Northamptonshire held its annual round of judging of the County’s beers where over 40 judges took part in sampling 60 beers from the County’s brewers. Steam Ale did it once again at the SIBA Independent Beer Awards for the Midlands region in October, winning a Bronze award in the category Cask Pale Ale.
