Black Fire Wins Great Taste!

Celebrations took place at the Brewery today, with the news that our Black Fire had won its first Great Taste award! 

For the second time, we are proud recipients of this much coveted highly prized one star from the Great Taste Awards, this year for Black Fire. This beer was one of 6,188 products to receive an award from Great Taste in 2026 (which is only 41.15% of all entries) and 4,286 products were awarded a Great Taste 1-star, meaning ‘simply delicious’.

We are absolutely delighted with this fantastic award and you will soon see the prestigious black and gold Great Taste badge of honour on all our bottles of Black Fire. Cheers to Aidan, our brewer (left) along with brewery director, John!

Established in 1994, Great Taste is organised by the Guild of Fine Food and is the world's largest, longest standing and most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and specialty food producers.
