Cask Ale Week Quiz Night

Towcester Mill Brewery monthly quiz nights are proving so popular that an extra quiz has now been put in the diary in the run up to Cask Ale Week!
Held on the first Tuesday of every month, the quiz night has been running in its current format for 18 months and it sells out nearly every time. Ross Marriott, who hosts the quiz, says he’s delighted how well it’s been going, “So many people regularly turn up to our monthly quiz nights which is absolutely fantastic, but we’re very aware that there may be some people who can’t always make that same night each month. To be able to put on additional ad hoc quizzes means we might be able to give others the chance to come along and let their general knowledge shine! It’s great fun, very relaxed and it just seems to work really well.”
All quizzes are hosted by the Mill’s resident quizmaster, Ross, and are held in the Malt Room on the second floor. Food from the Mill’s favourite pizza street food, The Little Oven of Joy, is available from 5pm and the bar to the Malt Room opens at 7pm. Quiz starts at 8pm. Teams can be up to a maximum of 6 people and places should be reserved via www.towcestermillbrewery.co.uk.
Cask Ale Week runs from 20-30 September and is a nationwide celebration of Britain’s National Drink and the home of cask ale – the great British pub.
