Wow what a weekend! We have been blown away by everyone's support over the last few days - thank you once again, whether you spent a few minutes or a few hours here with us at our Beer Festival, it was much appreciated. Such a fantastic atmosphere!
Yes, plenty of beer was drunk - and we hope you enjoyed it! - but much more importantly we can now announce that you all managed to raise a massive £356 for the Poppy Appeal by buying our pint glasses. That, combined with the £326 raised at our Poppy Appeal Quiz in September, makes for an amazing £682 this year for this very worthy cause.
Big thanks to David Reed (pictured on the right) from the Towcester branch of the Royal British Legion who popped into see us yesterday afternoon after his very busy morning - we thoroughly enjoy supporting him and his team of volunteers with the numerous charitable causes they undertake for this town. We hope you enjoyed your pint David - and very well deserved.
