After the sell-out success of its biggest name so far – Hal Cruttenden – Towcester Mill Brewery is delighted to announce its next fab line up of comedians offering you a great night out in the very heart of Towcester!
Headlining is star of ‘Live at the Apollo’ and his own Radio 4 series and former double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Andrew Lawrence, who is a unique and highly regarded stand-up comedian. His frighteningly splendid language is unique and brings out a most unusual blend of humour, never failing to make his audience think as well as laugh.
Supporting will be producer, director, writer and comic Bennett Arron. The only Jewish/Welsh comedian on the circuit he has supported Ricky Gervais on tour. A trained actor, he takes command of the stage and his humour veers between obsessed anxiety and natural occurrences, and with his contagious laugh he lights up any room.
Also appearing is the energetic and intelligent Matt Stellingwerf, with his unique and vast mix of annotations and interesting anecdotes.
Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour.
All tickets are priced at £15 (incl booking fee) and can be bought via www.towcestermillbrewery.co.uk.Doors to the Malt Room bar open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Food will also be available from The Rub Wood Smoked BBQ from 6pm-9pm.
Towcester Mill is fast becoming known as a comedy venue in its own right as more and more acts line up to perform in the building best known for its ales. It has joined forces with Funhouse Comedy to bring some of the UK’s top comedians, as well as the country’s finest rising stars, to Towcester.
