Christmas is nearly here… or so it seems as Towcester Mill Brewery’s first batch of its bottled seasonal favourite, Santa’s Tipple, arrives in town today!
Freshly brewed on site at the Brewery a couple of weeks ago, this 6.2% ruby ale is now on its way back from the bottling plant direct to its shop at the Bell Plantation Garden Centre.
“Santa’s Tipple is brewed with a combination of malts including dark crystal to give it its caramel flavour and colour,” explained Head Brewer, John Evans, “and a blend of hops leads this beer to a warm spicy finish which is just right for the time of year. Our 500ml bottles are always popular as they are perfect as a gift as well as for enjoying over the festive period with family and friends.”
The Brewery Shop will be open late tomorrow, Thursday 25 October, to coincide with the Bell Plantation Garden Centre’s Christmas Preview Evening. This will be the perfect opportunity to pick up a few bottles of Santa’s Tipple to get your Christmas shopping started!
Then, on Thursday 15 November, the Brewery Shop will hold its main launch of its Christmas gifts on a special late night open evening where there will be plenty of beer and gin tastings to help you make the right choice of gift for that special person in your life.
