Brewery director, John, enjoyed receiving the brewery's award on Saturday evening, 11 July, at a presentation held in the Tap Room celebrating Steam Ale's latest award!
This time, Steam Ale won the 'Premium Bitter' category at the Northampton County Beer Festival at Becket's Park, which took place at the end of May. CAMRA Northants' Chairman, Richard Burgham, presented the award in front of a full beer garden to great applause and celebration.
The annual competition is run by CAMRA Northamptonshire, where over 50 judges took part in sampling 53 beers from the County’s brewers. All the judges had to follow CAMRA's guidance on judging the beers against the various styles.
