If you are a fan of all things gin then you will know all about World Gin Day this Saturday, 8 June. To acknowledge this fabulous annual event, Towcester Mill Brewery are not only holding a summer Ginfest with their special guests from Burleighs, but they are also launching their brand new gin menu!
Burleighs, who produce true artisan gins handcrafted from botanical to bottle in the heart of England, are good friends with Towcester Mill Brewery, having previously been their special guest at the two Christmas 'GINgle All The Way' events in 2017 and 2018.
"After two fantastic winter gin evenings it was definitely time we had a summer celebration of gin," explained Tap Room manager, Sam Milthorpe, "What better day to do it than to make it part of our World Gin Day celebrations right in the middle of the summer!"
The Brewery is launching its brand new gin menu, kindly supported by Burleighs, for World Gin Day. It highlights the three key Burleighs gins - Export Strength, Distillers Cut and Pink Edition - as well as other gins and their serves including Brockmans, Hendricks, Tanqueray, Larios, Ophir, Phipps, Plymouth and Warner's.
"Excitingly, our new menu also introduces our brand new gin carafes," added Sam. "These are perfect for friends to share and wonderful for a summer evening. Choose from Burleighs Export Strength Gin mixed with Strawberry Liquor and Basil syrup topped with Fever-Tree light tonic water, or Burleighs Distillers Cut Gin mixed with Violette liqueur topped with Fever-Tree elderflower tonic. Amazing!"
If you don't need much of an excuse to enjoy a favourite gin or try a new one then why not come and join in the gin celebrations? No tickets are required for Towcester Mill's Summer Ginfest - everyone is welcome to pop into the Tap Room at the Mill on Saturday to try the different gins and the new carafes. World Gin Day is a global celebration on the second Saturday in June of all things gin related. It’s organised by Gin Monkey and the idea is simple: get people together all around the world with a legitimate excuse to drink some gin, whether it’s in a cocktail, G&T or neat. www.worldginday.com
