* HEADLINING SCOTT BENNETT AND BEN NORRIS * 

Topping the bill will be Scott Bennett, who is a stand-up comedian and writer whose star is most definitely on the rise. In 2023 he recorded his first Radio 4 special “Stuff” for  BBC Radio 4 and in the same year he supported Mickey Flanagan on tour including a 10,000 seat arena show in Nottingham. In 2021 he recorded his debut for Live at the Apollo BBC1. You will have heard him as a regular guest on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican. He also appeared on The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer.

​​Opening the night will be Ben Norris, who is a highly experienced and hugely well-respected stand-up. He’s been performing comedy since 1993 and is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material. Ben’s TV credits include: “Mock the Week” (BBC 1), “The Comedy Store” (Paramount and Comedy Central), “Never mind the Buzzcocks” (BBC 2), “They think it’s all over” (BBC 2). Ben was Ed Byrne’s tour support for two of his UK tours and appeared at the Apollo, Hammersmith.

Support act will be Gareth Neale, an energetic and self-deprecating story-teller offering a lighter take on the complex journey that is holding down a sensible job, raising toddlers and staving off a probable oncoming mid-life crisis. Completing the line-up will be Cordelia Graham who is fearless on stage and energetic, and describes her career and relationships in a warm, witty manner confidently making the audience laugh.

The evening will be compered by the Mill's fabulous resident MC, Pete Teckman, who recently won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award!
