Thur 10 Dec - Don't Go Into the Cellar! A Ghost Story for Christmas

This Christmas, enjoy a theatrical performance from Don't Go Into The Cellar, for their third show here at the Mill.

In the macabre tradition of the BBC's classic 1970s programme, A Ghost Story for Christmas is a theatre show featuring festive Edwardian spine-chillers adapted from the M.R. James originals. An evening of vengeful revenants, restless spirits and malevolent ghouls is guaranteed for those brave enough to join us!

Award-winning actor and writer Jonathan Goodwin portrays Montague Rhodes James in a show scripted by himself.

Formed in 2010, Don't Go into The Cellar! is the UK's finest practitioners of theatrical Victoriana in a macabre vein. They aim to bring new adaptations of 19th Century literature's greatest ghost and horror stories to modern day audiences.

Jonathan Goodwin is one of the winners of The Hamilton Deane Award from The Dracula Society (former winners include Mark Gatiss and Benedict Cumberbatch).

Over 16s only. 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult 18+. Tickets £15pp and are non-refundable or transferable.
