Thurs 25 Jun - Live Comedy Night

* HEADLINING SILKY AND ADDY VAN DER BORGH *

Topping the bill will be Silky, aka Paul ‘Silky’ White, a comedian and musician from Liverpool. Since 1994 he has avoided adulthood, wealth and financial security by doing something he loves instead. Rated by fellow comics, critics and audiences alike, he has completed two consecutive sell-out tours of the UK with his mix of classic one-liners and off-the-cuff banter without parallel. A tall, versatile, funny and very likeable performer, he is the ideal man, whether you need a friendly host, full-on, blistering stand-up or something down from the top of a cupboard. TV Appearances Include The Stand-Up Show (BBC), The World Stands Up (Paramount) and the Comics Lounge (AUS).

Opening the night will be Addy Van Der Borgh, who has been a regular performer at the Comedy Store for over 20 years. He has headlined all the major clubs in the UK and worldwide, entertained troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and has performed sell out runs at the South Africa Comedy Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Adelaide International Comedy Festival and at the Edinburgh Festival. He was shortlisted for the Perrier Award in 2004 and was the only British comic invited to appear in the Twentieth Century Fox Comedy Showcase in Los Angeles. He studied clowning and physical theatre at LAMDA and is well known for the array of voices and characters that he brings to life in his shows along with his animation of inanimate objects. He wrote and co-presented TV Meltdown for Sky 1 with Kirsty Gallacher, appeared in Brain Candy for Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow Productions, is a frequent guest on Radio 4’s Loose Ends and played the part of Jack Watson in Little Things.

Support for the evening will be Duncan Hart, who burst onto the UK comedy scene in the late ’90s at the tender age of 18, quickly becoming a favourite act and MC for some of the country’s top clubs and promoters. After a solid stint on the circuit, he stepped back from the mic to carve out a successful career in television, putting together shows for all the big broadcasters and working alongside comedy heavyweights like Russell Howard, Dara Ó Briain, James Acaster, Rosie Jones, and circuit legend Arthur Smith.

The evening will be compered by the Mill's fabulous resident MC, Pete Teckman, who won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award.

Over 18s only. Please note some material by comedians may be of an adult nature. Acts are subject to change. Tickets are non-refundable or transferable.

We teamed up with Funhouse Comedy in 2017 to bring some of the UK’s top comedians, as well as the country’s finest rising stars, to Towcester. We celebrated our 80th show in January 2026.
