Thurs 29 Jan - Live Comedy Night

* HEADLINING HARRIET DYER AND TOM WRIGGLESWORTH *

Topping the bill will Harriet Dyer, a uniquely energetic comedian, writer and mental health advocate known for her surreal storytelling and uplifting humour. She has been a full time comic since 2013 and appeared on Live at the Apollo and The Russell Howard Hour . She’s had numerous critically acclaimed shows, works for the majority of big clubs and festivals, regularly gigs overseas, and prides herself in being totally original – an experience to behold, if you will!

Opening the night will be Tom Wrigglesworth, a wonderful wordsmith with several highly popular Radio 4 series and sell-out Edinburgh Festival runs under his belt. Wrigglesworth is a charismatic and highly talented Sony Award winner, comedian, radio and TV presenter and voice-over artist who won the So You Think You're Funny award in 2003. As a stand-up, Tom has performed on Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, Russell Howard`s Good News and The Comedy Gala for BBC Three as well as The World Stand`s Up, Edinburgh and Beyond and three series of The Comedy Store – all for Comedy Central. He possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they're old friends and his warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion, never fail to captivate his audiences.

Supporting the evening will be Mark Flynn who started stand-up at 50yrs old and since then has gone on to beat the gongs at Top Secret, Comedy Store, Vauxhall and Up The Creek comedy clubs. Completing the line-up will be Neil McFarlane, who started his comedy career in Scotland 14 years ago, where he remains a regular act at the highly-regarded Stand Comedy Clubs in Glasgow & Edinburgh.

The evening will be supported by two up-and-coming acts, plus it will be compered by the Mill's fabulous resident MC, Pete Teckman, who won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award.
