Wed 30 Dec - Live Comedy Night

* HEADLINING DANNY WARD AND ALFIE MOORE*

Topping the bill will be Danny Ward. Danny has been delighting audiences both at home and abroad for over a decade with performances in over 16 countries and six acclaimed solo shows at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. His story about appearing on Britain’s Got Talent is truly glorious!

'Delightfully clever punchlines¦ He endears himself with an engaging if unusual style of language. Wordy but accessibly so, he throws in sneaky puns and well-hidden one-liners that reward the attentive listener without alienating anyone that missed them. It's clever stuff.' - Chortle

Opening the night will be Alfie Moore.  An ex-police sergeant who has had several acclaimed Radio 4 series, "It's a Fair Cop". Alfie skilfully blends succinct layman explanations about the law, with very funny anecdotes from his own policing experiences, whilst taking the audience through a real-life scenario from his own police casebook.

Support for the evening will be Sean Gorman. Since starting, Salisbury's Sean Gorman, now based in London, has  quickly proven to have a bright future in stand up. Within the first couple of years he reached the finals of the Reading Fringe New Act, Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act and South Coast Comedian of The Year competitions. Displaying the stage presence of a more seasoned comedian, his deadpan delivery and self deprecating humour has the audience hanging on every word.

Completing the line-up will be Joel Walker. Joel Walker is a rising British stand-up comedian recognised for his deadpan humour and observational style. He achieved significant acclaim in 2025 as the runner-up (3rd place) in the prestigious "So You Think You’re Funny?" competition at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The evening will be compered by the Mill's fabulous resident MC, Pete Teckman, who won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award.

Over 18s only. Please note some material by comedians may be of an adult nature. Acts are subject to change. Tickets are non-refundable or transferable.
