Less than ten days after winning an award at the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards, we were presented with another on Friday 16 November.
The Northamptonshire branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) voted the Tap Room at Towcester Mill as its Autumn Town Pub of the Season - and what a great accolade that is!
"We're delighted to have won this award," said Head Brewer, John Evans. "It's a great testament to the quality of our beers, the high standards of customer service we pride ourselves on and the fantastic atmosphere in our Tap Room. It just goes to show that when you put all these things together you've got an award-winning pub as voted for by members of our local branch of CAMRA."
Chairman of the branch, Dean Cornwall (seen centre left with John) presented the award to John and some of the bar staff (l-r); Nicola, Keba and Danielle on Friday evening.
This award follows on the back of the heels of the CAMRA awards presented to Towcester Mill in 2017 for Northamptonshire, Rutland and Leicestershire Pub of the Year, Northamptonshire Pub of the Year and Northamptonshire Town Pub of the Year.
More information on the Northamptonshire branch of CAMRA can be found here. CAMRA is an independent, voluntary, consumer organisation which campaigns for real ale, real pubs and consumer rights.
