Do you remember the Northampton County Beer Festival at Becket's Park last May? Well, great news from Team Mill!
Our already award-winning stout, Black Fire, has been awarded another accolade, having won the 'Strong Stouts' category at the 2025 festival. CAMRA Northamptonshire held its annual round of judging of the County’s beers where over 40 judges took part in sampling 60 beers from the County’s brewers. The judges followed CAMRA’s guidance on judging the beers against the various styles, and Black Fire won its category!
Brewery Director, John Evans (seen left), was presented with the award by Chair of CAMRA Northamptonshire, Richard Burgham, on Wednesday 27 August. This is the third year in a row that Black Fire has won this category at this festival.
Massive congrats to Northampton County Beer Festival for celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Well done to all the winning breweries too, what a fantastic showcase of all the best breweries in the county!
