First ever Christmas Fayre!

Towcester Mill will be holding its very first Christmas Fayre this year, complete with festive drinks in the Tap Room and Snug, hog roast, pop-up shop in the Turbine Room and Christmas stalls in the Malt Room.

To be held on Sunday 1 December 2019, the Fayre will showcase the Mill’s very own festive ales and bring the true ‘spirit’ of Christmas alive with mulled wine and mulled cider and a whole host of other deliciously tempting drinks to tantalise your taste buds!

The Fayre itself will open at the same time as the Tap Room opens at 12pm. The whole building will have something on offer for everyone, whether it’s a cosy drink in the Snug on the ground floor or a bit of Christmas shopping on the first and second floors. A hog roast will be on offer from Brad’s Banquets with food ready around 1pm.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone into the Mill on the 1st December,” said Tap Room and Events Manager, Sam Milthorpe. “We’ve got a fabulous building and it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a drink and a bite to eat and have a look around to see what gifts you might be able to pick up for your friends or family. We’ll have our own pop-up shop on the first floor in the Turbine Room with an area dedicated to our real ales, including gift packs, hampers, bottles and casks, as well as some space offering a range of speciality gins, including gin goblets, gift packs, vodkas, ciders and more!

“In the Malt Room on the second floor we’ll have a dozen or so stallholders offering a whole host of different gift ideas, from brand new Usborne books and toys, to skincare from The Body Shop, food from Towbury Court Deli and some beautifully made Christmas crafts from local small businesses, just right for the season. There’s bound to be something for everyone.”

The Fayre runs from 12pm-6pm, with food available after 1pm. The Tap Room will be open until 8pm for those of you who just need to sit down with a drink after a busy afternoon’s shopping!
