Come and join us for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Thursday 1 October, coinciding with International Coffee Day. We had a fantastic response last year and raised over £300 during the morning alone! And this year we're determined to host it again - in a socially distanced way of course!
Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa, and help Macmillan be there for people facing cancer. Macmillan raised an incredible £27k in 2019 and we’re aiming to help top that this year.
Samantha Bonnie, Tap Room Manager at the Mill, said, “Last year's coffee morning was so successful and we were blown away by how generous people were, so we had to do it again this year! We’ll have plenty of tea, coffee and cake available so do come along; a warm welcome is guaranteed and you won’t leave hungry!”
Macmillan is almost entirely funded by donations and simply cannot support the growing number of people with cancer who need them without the public’s help. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. There are over 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this is set to grow to almost 4 million by 2030.
The Coffee Morning will be held at the Mill so bring your pennies and your friends and enjoy some fabulous tea and cake! No tickets required, just turn up between 10am and 12pm. We will ensure there is plenty of space for everyone.
