May’s Comedy Night at the Mill

Don’t miss The Mill’s ever-popular comedy night this month on Thursday 24 May and enjoy a great night out in the heart of Towcester!

Headlining the night will be comedian, actor, and writer Chris McCausland, who has appeared on ‘Live at The Apollo’. The only blind professional comedian on the circuit he has an exclusive take on life. Good-natured, unruffled and extremely genial his diverse mix of subjects keeps his audiences amused and entertained.

Supporting is the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country’s premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Channel 4’s Paul O’Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he captivates the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Also appearing will be the smart, self-confessed procrastinator Chantal Feduchin-Pate with her interesting lines.

Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour.

All tickets are priced at £15 (incl booking fee) and can be bought via www.towcestermillbrewery.co.uk. Doors to the Malt Room bar open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Food will also be available from MYO Street Food from 6pm-9pm.

Towcester Mill is fast becoming known as a comedy venue in its own right as more and more acts line up to perform in the building best known for its ales. It has joined forces with Funhouse Comedy to bring some of the UK’s top comedians, as well as the country’s finest rising stars, to Towcester.

The next comedy night at the Mill will be held on Thursday 21 June.
