Poppy Appeal Quiz returns to the Mill

There are spaces for just a few teams still available for the Poppy Appeal Quiz, to be held on Tuesday 19 March at Towcester Mill Brewery.

Organised by Towcester’s Royal British Legion, the quiz was first held at its new venue, the Mill, last year, and was so successful it raised over £300 for the Poppy Appeal.

And now it’s back by popular demand! “Teams can be made up of a maximum of six, but you can have as many teams as you like,” explained David Reed, organiser and host of the quiz. “It was a fabulous night last year with a great atmosphere and, as the Poppy Appeal is the Legion’s biggest fundraising appeal, we hope to raise as much as we did then this year, if not more!”

Team reservations must be made here with all monies to be paid on the door. “We’re just asking for a £3 entry per person,” added David, “£2 of which will go direct to the Poppy Appeal and the other £1 towards cash prizes. We’ll have a raffle on the night too. A good evening’s entertainment is guaranteed!”

Food will also be available on Tuesday 19 March from The Little Oven of Joy and their delicious wood-fired pizzas.

Towcester's Royal British Legion meet at Towcester Mill Brewery on the second Tuesday of every month from 7.30pm-9pm. Everyone's welcome; for more information email David Reed on dreedsfm@sky.com or turn up on the night.
