Tis the season to be jolly!

Why not give the gift of laughter this Christmas and buy someone special tickets to our Live Comedy Night on Friday 27 December?

Canadian Sean Collins has 25 years experience in stand up comedy, with initial success leading to ‘Best Male Stand Up’ nominations at the Canadian Comedy Awards, a Just For Laughs Gala set at Montreal and his own hour long special on Canadian television. Since residing in the UK, Sean quickly established himself as a strong performer. His appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC 1 proved a momentous gig for Sean and he has recently supported John Bishop.

Andy Askins returns to the Mill after first appearing here in September 2017. He has an expertly crafted routine littered with an eclectic mix of offbeat comic songs and parodies. A talented musician with a captivating voice, popular songs have been re-written with tremendous comic effect. Andy has appeared on The John Bishop Show, headlined all the major comedy clubs and can be seen regularly at the Comedy Stores in London and Manchester.

Support act is Hannah Sylvester, who was nominated Best Act - Midlands Comedy Awards - 2017. Compere for the night will be the Mill’s resident MC, Pete Teckman, who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy Festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour.

All tickets are priced at £15 (incl booking fee) and can be bought here. Doors to the Malt Room bar open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are now on sale for our first Live Comedy Night of 2020 headlining Jeff Innocent and Chris McCausland on Thursday 30 January in case you can't make our December gig but would like to buy tickets as a Christmas gift!

Towcester Mill is fast becoming known as a comedy venue in its own right as more and more acts line up to perform in the building best known for its ales. It joined forces with Funhouse Comedy in April 2017 to bring some of the UK’s top comedians, as well as the country’s finest rising stars, to Towcester.
