UK’s leading comedian/magician tops the bill at Towcester Mill Brewery
Ideal as a treat for yourself, maybe a Valentine’s gift for your loved one, or an opportunity to get a group of friends together, comedy nights are, quite literally, a right laugh. Team that with a fab venue right in the centre of Towcester, award winning beers and delicious, freshly cooked tex mex food from Baja Cantina, it’s a night out not to be missed!
Topping the bill on Thursday 1 March is comedy magician and writer Pete Firman who has appeared on BBC1′s ‘The Magicians’ and made guest appearances on ‘The John Bishop Show‘, ‘The One Show’ and ‘BBC Breakfast’ to name but a few. He has performed at The Edinburgh Festival 10 years in a row, toured the UK with six solo theatre shows and is recognised as the UK’s leading comedian/magician. More magical than Dumbledore on a good day, so leave your scepticism at the door!
Opening the night will be winner of ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’, the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on ‘Loose Women’ and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV’s ‘Comedy Annual’. More recently he appeared on ITV’s ‘Splash’. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside, he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves his audiences wanting for more.
Also appearing will be Jack Barry with his witty musings and spontaneous dialogue.
Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour.
All tickets are priced at £15 (incl booking fee) and can be bought via www.towcestermillbrewery.co.uk. Doors to the Malt Room bar open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm.
