Thurs 27 Jun - Live Comedy Night


Topping the bill will be Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Glenn Moore, who is a comedian, actor and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country. Glenn is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Mock The Week (BBC2), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He’s also appeared on The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), House of Games (BBC2) and Pointless Celebrities (BBC1). He can be heard daily as one quarter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio, the UK’s biggest commercial radio breakfast show. He’s also a presenter on the BBC Sounds gaming podcast Press X To Continue.

Opening the night will be Jonny Pelhama highly acclaimed comedian from the UK who has made a name for himself in the comedy industry. He has been featured on various popular shows like Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, Russell Howard’s Stand-up Central, Live from the BBC, and Bobby and Harriet Get Married. Additionally, Pelham has written and acted in his own comedy scripts, including Late Bloomer for Sky Comedy Short Season and Brad Boys for Channel Four Comedy Blaps. He has also worked as a script consultant for the BAFTA-winning comedy series, Almas Not Normal. Currently, Pelham is working on a new screenwriting project in collaboration with Instinct Productions. 

Support act will be stand-up Edi Johnston, a one-of-a-kind ukulele comedic musician who sings silly songs about Jaffa Cakes, Monopoly, Taxidermy and the like!

The evening will be compered by the Mill's fabulous resident MC, Pete Teckman, who recently won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award!
